Being from a somewhat younger generation of Russian emigre than you are, I'm not really familiar with contemporary russian music. It is fascinating to see this type of (rap music?) in russian for the first time. BTW, do you know where she is from, this Yulia Kogan?
Location: Chicago Suburbs, Illinois, United States
The reasonable man adapts himself to the world; the unreasonable one persists in trying to adapt the world to himself. Therefore, all progress depends on the unreasonable man.

Hi Jewish,
I wouldn't call this rap, to me it's much more like punk ska. I discovered them through the soundtrack for "Everything is Illuminated".
I have no idea where Yulia came from. She used to head a jazz orchestra in St Petersburg but I have no idea how she got hooked up with Leningrad.
