Kosher Koprophagia
So, my six year old asked me today if he had two sets of digestive tracts, one for eating dairy and one for eating meat. I replied that we have only one, and that is why we wait between meat and dairy.
He thought about that for a while, and said very seriously - "This is why poop is not kosher. Because it is mixing dairy and meat. We can't eat dairy and meat together and that's why we can't eat poop!"

You six year old will go far.
A recently deceased person in SF took the whole separation of fleishedik and dairedik a bit further than I thought even possible.
Two sinks? Check.
Two refrigerators? Check.
Two stoves? Say what now?
I only know of this because his relatives wanted to donate these items to a charity that Savage Kitten works for...... most charities do not have storage facilities, very few can pick up large items, and almost none really want appliances or furniture that is decades old.
Savage Kitten is still shaking her head over that one.
Still, not as odd as the Philippina who called up trying to give away a coffin and a used mattress ("only stained on ONE side!").
Well, at least you didn't go off on a Balkan Sobranie tangent again.
We are gratefull for the little things.
Don't eat poo.

It seems to me to be a very logical conclusion. However, you should maybe explain to your child that there are also hygenic/health issues involved.
Great train of thought! I love the logic of some kids. Indeed we have a similar aged boy who occasionally comes out with such gems.
Temptation would have had me saying that the whole Milchig Fleishig thing is one piece of crap! but go figure.
Loi Sevasheil Gdi Bechaleiv Imoi is mentioned in more then one version of the DH. It seems to me pretty descriptive. I wonder if there was no ancient Canaanite practice, this one is trying to vilify.
Rabbinical Judaism indeed made one almighty piece of crap out of this one! Your son is in the right after all.
Bishrirus,
