Les, that's YHWH not Wa-hooo. But seriously, this just illustrates to me the human capacity to ascribe outcomes to divine intervention. If Les Miles thinks that God loves LSU more than He does Ohio State, how can you blame the ancients for believing that God wanted the winners of a battle to win and the losers to be punished?

Yes, his statement does illustrate that tendency of human thinking which then subtly indicates their self-esteem levels, their nature of self-doubt, etc.
However, In Hoc Signo Vinces better belongs with the Patriots who seem to have trouble remembering any given team that they run under their cleats regularly. If there's conquering going on, it's with them.
