Music Monday - Yael Naïm

They are beginning to play her other song - "New Soul", which was used in the new Apple commercial, all over the radio, but I really like this one: I like fact that it's a waltz, that it is inventively orchestrated, the way her voice hits the notes in unison with the electric slide guitar towards the end...

I think it's cute that she sings with an accent

I assume you mean on the "New Soul" song?

It's funny because I thought exactly the same thing...

"Cute" is not the word I was thinking of, though. It is kinda sexy, but in an innocent sort of way.

yes, I meant the New Soul song. I can't view your youtube link because they block it at my work. I'm currently listening to "Pachad" via Rhapsody

I don't recall the Apple commercial being sung with an accent. Do you know if it's sung by someone else?

I'm pretty sure the Apple commercial is sung by her, but if I recall right, they cut/pasted it pretty heavily, so most of the lyrics are gone. It may not be easy to discern the accent in the parts they left in the commercial.
