Sort of like the best-hearted Sputnik Chasidim who did nothing to stop the massive tax fraud being committed in their midst.

Well they may live in Spelunks now, but in Der Alter Heim they lived in Gagarin!
The famous Rebbe Yuri Gagarin in April 1961 became the Vostocker Rebbe. Previously he had been a Chassid of the third Sputniker Rebbe.
