Crimean Jews - Krymchaks

You can live a hundred years and still find something you've never heard of. Here is the story of the Krymchak Jews of Crimea.

I had a chance to visit Crimea last summer. There are very few Krimchaki left -but I did get a chance to visit the city of Cufut Kale, a fortress built in the mountains, originally by the Krimchaki, though later it was subverted by the Karaim.
