Reading ArabNews.com

I often read the ArabNews website (www.arabnews.com) to see what the Saudis publish for consumption by English speaking foreigners.

Found an article in the World/Arab View section. This particular article is outraged by the "Zionist propaganda" fed to Americans. He goes through lamenting the fact that the Israeli's get special treatment by the UN. That they will not accept King Abdullah's generous peace proposal. And he concludes in frustration...

"You know what? Maybe the Arabs should stop trying to make their point by arguments alone. Maybe, the US Founding Fathers’ armed way is the only way. Maybe Hamas and Hezbollah’s way is the way."

Wow. I had no idea the Arabs were trying to make their points by arguments alone!

I don't know which is funnier, that they try to make their point through argument or that the UN gives Israel special treatment. I guess if you consider anti-semitism from the UN as special - we'd be happy to share! :]

This has reference to the statements of the King of Saudi Arabia King Abdullah bin Abdul aziz in the US,published in the Arab News dated 14 Nov 08.
He has asked the world leaders to follow democracy and has accepted that the Americans are democratic people. He said "WE HAD ENOUGH OF KILLING,ENEMITY AND RIGHTS VIOLATIONS".Based on his statements I have only two points to say.a).The king is a real human being and love humanity and hate oppression, injustice, rights violations but his administration in the kingdom of Saudi Arabia is keeping him in dark completely.
b).He is trying to show to the UN memebr countries that his country is on the road to demacracy and love humanity and hate rights violations but in reality he does not want to mend his administration.
I am requesting the UN if it is not corruptorganisation to Please appoint a committee from among the expatriates living in the kingdom of Abdullah Bin Abdul aziz to study the cases of oppression, rights violations, harrasment, torture(of labourers and house maids and Drivers)and what not and submit the report to the UN security council.I can swear that the highest level of oppression,Rights violations, killings, inhumanity(Refer to the case of Qatif Girl's rape in which the victim was punished by the court of law in this islamic state),discrimination, false egoism in the citizens of Saudi Arabia do exist in Saudi Arabia.I myself is a live example of victimisation by the Deprtment Director of Saudi Electricity co in riyadh.
I requesting with high concern about the absence of legal system in Saudi Arabia. The administration is full of Saudis and so obviously, the expatriates can never get justice in the courts of law or in any of the offices.
Even the top man like CEO approve the request of the employees, the lower level of Adminsitration will reject the orders,is this the way the flow of orders should be implemented?
I think the King is totally in dark about what is going on in his own country. The UN should never close it's eyes just for the sake few billions of Doaalrs that the king may donate or give away as gift to Ban ki moon or to Bush.
Hope the google will take up this article to the UN for the sake of the mankind who are being ill treated in Saudi Arabia.

This in reference to the recent discussions in the Shoura Council which acts like a parliament in Saudi Arabia which has no executive or legislative power which means the MOST USELESS BODY ON THIS EARTH.
The Discussion about marriage of Saudi Girls with non Saudi boys was held and reected by the chairman of the council.May I request the UN and the WTO to ask the Saudi Governement on which basis or under which law of the world or the devine law, such bill has been passed that a human cannot marry his female partner only because of her nationality?
The inhumanity, oppressioin,Rihgts violation have gone so high,I am affraid,if the UN does not take action, then the humanity will be gone in this country. The discrimination is so high, that the mankind cannot cope up with it.It is the Turn of Mr.Barack Obama to look in to the inhuman status of the Blacks in Saudi Arabia.
